In this session we'll discuss the requirement for a CDN as a Service built on top of Openstack. We'll discuss the various CDN use cases, brainstorm about many facets of a CDN Service and evaluate the gaps. As an example we'll discuss and explore the new components needed to not only create a CDN Service for openstack SWIFT which the swift origin server (sos) is starting to implement but also allow users to CDN-enable static content static files like images, javascript files, CSS, etc which doesn't reside in SWIFT. We would like to discuss the implication of adding keystone into the CDN architecture and understand how to best handle the CDN provider requests for public content. Another important aspect of CDN as a Service will be the integration layer with the CDN providers.
